The Chapter is a membership-based, non-profit organization and is established to bring together and provide support for groups representing procurement in all fields; educational, governmental, and public institutes. The AR Chapter of NIGP is committed to providing professional education and promoting ethical standards in buying and selling. This Chapter is local but extends its arms to all persons and groups interested in public procurement. The current membership base is comprised of procurement and purchasing directors, administrators, buyers, purchasing agents and other procurement and purchasing support staff. It is our goal to develop, support, and promote the public procurement profession through premier educational and research programs, professional support, and initiatives that benefit members and the institute.
